Myth of Alkionia!

Alkionia name goes back to the Greek mythology, "Alkion" who was the
beautiful daughter of the wind and the beach. After such misfortune the
Gods changed her into a kingfisher, and since then kingfishers have built their
nests on the sea surface during the calm period of each year. In that period
the sky is clear blue and the winds are calm. This period was called the
"Alkionia Days".
